Today, we had a session with Dr.Pandey where we explored literture reviews more and got to learn more about transition words for each section of a paper. We also got to learn about how to keep our voice in a paper when citing the work from other authors. We also played a game to help us figure out what transition words we could us in our papers. We went into our research groups were we learned about CNN’s and encoding. We read 2 articles on encoding and CNN’s which explained what each were then we began to work on some encoding techniques like label encoding, frequency encoging, and one-hot encoding. I was told to focus on label encoding which was fairly easy due to us using it yesterday in our projects even though I had no idea that was it’s name. Blessing explained each concept to us thoroughly and had us explain each concept in our own words to make sure that we understood it.
