Today, we reviewed all the important dates and the information for the program before we went into our first workshop. In this workshop Dr. Dacon taught us data analytics and we got to make some arrays and graph data using a breast cancer dataset. The workshop was very fun and interactive I feel as though i learned a lot and it helped me understand some of the stuff that we did previously in our research groups. We also took a workshop on Ai model errors where we indentified wether some popular ai models were structually biased or had simple errors that the creator could fix in the coding stage. This workshop opened my eyes to how ai models could easily be biased based on what data was used or not used in the training stage.
